Current Legislation - 2020 Session

Below is House Bill 32 that calls for a detailed letter of explantion, signed by an authorized credentialed practitioner of a CCO, detailing the reasons for denial of services to a Medicaid recipient. As many of our practioners have experienced, denials from the CCOs have been from individuals with no actual expereince or qualifications in Speech Language Pathology or any of the services provided to children. This Bill is vital to our practice and requires your support. Please reference the Representative and Senator from your District and call/email them asking their attention and support of this bill. As well, contact Representative Currie who is spnosoring the Bill.
